Camp begins at 9:00 a.m. Please be on time - ensembles require everyone's full participation!
All music classes will be held at St. Luke's Episcopal Church, 111 Whalley Avenue. Please enter from the church parking lot on Sperry Street.
This is the camp schedule:
MONDAY-FRIDAY July 20-24 and July 27-31
9:00- 9:30 a.m. gathering and games
9:50-10:15 a.m. music class
10:15-10:30 a.m. snack and games
10:30-11:15 a.m. music class
11:15-11:30 a.m. break and games
11:30-12:15 p.m. music class
12:15-12.45 p.m. lunch
12:45- 1:30 p.m. rehearsals, private practice and instruction
1:30- 2:00 p.m. snack and walk to Possible Futures/faculty ensemble rehearsal
2:00- 3:00 p.m. reading, book clubs, projects and relaxing
3:00 p.m. PICK UP AT POSSIBLE FUTURES BOOKSTORE, 318 EDGEWOOD AVENUE, NEW HAVEN
SATURDAY SHOWCASE August 1
9:00- 9:30 a.m. gathering and games
9:30-11:00 a.m. rehearse for showcase
11:00-12:00 p.m. performance, open to all families and friends
It is important that students have breakfast before they arrive. Please know that they will not be allowed to buy food at nearby restaurants during camp hours.
String instruments and steel pans will be provided for all students. Please help us help the students to understand that they need to be careful with these instruments which can easily be damaged and cost a lot to repair.
